Last week, LMRE President/CEO Ed VanHoose joined co-op leaders from around Ohio in Columbus for Ohio's Electric Cooperative's annual Statehouse Day. Participants met with local Ohio legislators to advocate for electric cooperatives and other topics that impact YOU, our members, every day. Hearing about and advocating for causes that impact our members is something that is very important to LMRE, and events, like Statehouse Day, allow the cooperative to stay connected to our community, legislators, and you!

Did you know there are multiple ways to pay your bill? It is now more convenient than ever, and LMRE wants to make sure you, as a member, are aware of all the ways you can save a little time. 

For members wanting to take advantage of our most convenient payment option, SmartHub is the way to go. Monitor your energy consumption, set up AutoPay, and more!

For members wanting a more traditional option, payments can be dropped off at our office in Spencer during regular business hours, through our 24-hour night deposit, or by mailing them using the provided prepaid envelope that comes with your bill. Please remember that payments must be received by the due date every month. Postmark dates do not count as payment dates as LMRE cannot control the timelines of payment arrivals when dropped off with the USPS.

Members can also pay by telephone using a credit card or electronic check by calling our secure payment line at 1-883-619-0879.

The committee meets twice per year for three to four hours per session. Applications will be reviewed and committee members will be considered by the LMRE board of directors. Those appointed will serve three-year terms, which will run concurrently with the terms served by their district's board director.
